Petanque Season, 2012

Hello, Petanquers. Niigata City Petanque will hold its first picnic of the year this Sunday, May 20, from 1:00 'til. As per usual I'll be firin' up the barbie (menu yet to be decided). Looking forward to seeing you at Nishi Ohata Park this weekend.

October Petanque Update 3

We'll have the petanque picnic today, Sunday the 16th. The ground may be too soft for us to play petanque until later in the afternoon, but we can barbecue while we wait.

The petanque picnic scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16, has been postponed.

We'll try again on Sunday.

The weather people forecast rain for tomorrow, the date of our October gathering. If the event is rained out we'll hold the picnic the following day, Sunday the 16th.

I'll post a final update Saturday morning.

Calling all petanquers. The next petanque picnic will be at Nishi Ohata Park on Saturday, October 15, from 1:00.

As usual, I'll have the BBQ- I'm thinking of doing brats again.

Bring friends, family, total strangers- the larger the crowd the better.
