The petanque picnic scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16, has been postponed.

We'll try again on Sunday.

When: Saturday, October 15, 1:00 'til (I'll be there from noon setting up the barbie, but festivities will get underway a bit later; however, feel free to come early to keep me company.)

Where: Nishi Ohata Park

* If there's rain on Saturday the picnic will be held at the same time on Sunday (the 16th).

About Niigata City Petanque

Niigata City Petanque was formed in May 2007 by Minagawa San & I as we were both keen to start playing petanque in Niigata City , I had played back in NZ and Minagawa San was keen to try so we held our first get together at Nishi Ohata park on the 3rd of June. We are a very informal club and everybody is most welcome to come along to our monthly club days ( 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month at 1.pm ) and join in a game or two. It doesn't matter if you have played before or not , just give it a go as I'm sure you'll like it.
